Entry of an international inheritance in the Swiss land register

BKP assisted several Indian nationals in the successful recognition of their inheritance and entry as landowners in the Swiss land register. The subject of the inheritance was a plot of land located in central Switzerland which had to be transferred by inheritance to the heirs residing in India and Canada. BKP assisted the heirs in the legal clarification of the international private law issues, in the preparation of a legal opinion under Indian law and in the application for a Swiss certificate of inheritance at the competent district court.
